There's so much debris in the lake that when the wind is blowing, it's next to impossible to launch a boat, and a real challenge to fish from the bank.

Relaxing, clean, nice restrooms, friendly ppl, easy access, great fishing, kayaking and has soccer field great place for the whole family or if you just need some me time. Not to mention the nice breeze to keep you cool.

Quiet lake with good breeze. Lots of trash and branches in water around shore makes fishing difficult. Looks good for kayaking or canoeing.

A great place for walking trails, fishing, and small boat boating all near a scenic lake with a surprising amount of wildlife nearby.

It really needs maintenance. It almost seems that they built the dam, threw some stone down for a parking lot, and left.

We love doe run. Be careful on the trails. Some of the bridges are out.

it's flood control lake created by a dam.

Needs to be shut down for a month and bring in a work crew to bring it back to its potential to be a great fishing and hiking spot.

We've also hiked around the lake, and the trails are supposed to be moderate difficulty, but were almost non-existent in some places. My wife and I are in our sixties, and run and hike regularly. We got stranded on the far side of the lake because we couldn't navigate the tangled debris that we walked into. We had to be assisted by a group of younger hikers.
